Supervive is a neon-apocalyptic, hero-based battle royale that toes the line of existing game genres. Leading both the visual design and implementation in Unreal Engine, I aimed to create a UI that helped accentuate our characters, world, and storytelling. For this growing and evolving live-service product, I built systems that were scalable and sustainable long term.
Because the world and characters of Supervive are inherently complex, I believed that the UI should balance this with bold shapes and text that compliment the rest of our IP's style. This meant that the visuals of the interface should never pull the user's interest away from the user over the information being shown.
